HKU Experts: Wearing Facemasks and Using Handrubs is Critical to Curb Further Outbreak in Hong Kong

Hong Kong – One more suspected case of novel coronavirus was found in in Chi Fu Fa Yuen in Hong Kong in the night of 24 January. The concerned resident is being tested.

A research team led by Professor Kwok-Yung YUEN, microbiologist, surgeon and physician, from the University of Hong Kong(HKU) has published on Lancet, a medical journal, reminding citizens to wear facemasks and use disinfectants. Yuen said the following few days is critical in curbing a community outbreak of Wuhan Pneumomia in Hong Kong.
