HK Police Freezing Protesters’ Fund Backfires: HSBC puts up boards for protection

Hong Kong – Last week, the police made a high-profile announcement, accusing Spark Alliance of money laundering. Four people were arrested and HKD$70 million was frozen.

According to USP, on Dec. 25, HSBC is now being accused of selling their customers out and imposing political censorship on clients. As a precaution, one HSBC branch had boards installed to protect itself from damage.
