Unexpected Christmas Eve Incident — Forced Demolition in Hailin Yijing, 59 Daqing Road, Weihai, Shandong
At 11:55 a.m. on December 24, 2019, China time, a forced demolition occurred in Weihai, Shandong. According to the owner’s exposing, he has been paying the mortgage for more than a decade.
On December 24, 2019, after the local government failed to properly coordinate and issued an illegal notice, his house was demolished, and many cars were destroyed during the violent demolition. The owner contacted the police but they were unable to do anything after arriving at the scene and the demolition continued.
Government of Changping District of Beijing Demolished 13 Homes in Ximafang Village, Yangfang Town
On December 20, 2019, China time, thirteen homes in Changping District of Beijing were forcibly demolished.
At six a.m. in the morning, several hundred mobs employed by the Changping District Government arrived at the scene armed while wearing security guard clothing. Entering the owners’ homes and carrying them all out by force, the mobs were very rude and violent.

Officials including the police and security company personnel were at the site to direct the mobs and they treated the owners very rudely, the law enforcement was very violent. The ambulance and doctors were on standby at the scene. According to an owner, he stated that he had a master’s degree in political science from Peking University. He used to work for the government but had resigned and now he is a pastor. To buy the house, his parents-in-law paid one million CNY and he and his wife financed 850 thousand CNY, which has not been paid off. They will receive no compensation for the demolition.
Editors’ note: In Communist China, people can not own a house or an apartment. One can only have up to 70 years of usage of a real estate property. However, even the so-called 70-year-usage right is a lie. The reported force demolishments only take a little proportion of the total number.
