1. The CCP has deflated the idea that it poses a threat in the eyes of the public by influencing and purchasing elites

2. Many of those elites are involved in both politics and business – which causes willful blindness to the overall strategy being carried out by the CCP. The elite, their families, and business partners are all simultaneously being cultivated to serve as assets of the CCP.

3. This creates a feedback loop wherein very few involved in the political process want to investigate their Communist benefactors.
