[China] [Social credit system] 36 More Railway Stations use E-Tickets

According to People’s Daily, from December 7, 2019, 36 more railway stations in Guangxin Province, China, have implemented the E-Tickets system. Paper version tickets for D-type and G-type trains are no longer sold in these railway stations. Travelers need to use a specific APP to buy e-tickets if they want to take trains in these railway stations. The APP, ‘12306’, forcefully obtains users’ names, ID card numbers, and phone numbers for registrations.

Note: In China, there are three most used regular train types, K-type, D-type, G-type. G-type trains are faster than the D-type ones. K-types trains are the slowest.
