CCP: The U.S. Launches Double Standard Against Terrorism

Dec. 6th, People’s Daily, Chinese Communist Party’s mouthpiece responses to the House’s pass of the Uighur Intervention and Global Humanitarian Unified Response Act.

Quote: “On December 3, local time, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the so-called “Uighur Human Rights Policy Act of 2019”, which viciously attacked the human rights situation in Xinjiang, distorted China’s efforts to extremize and combat terrorism, and blamed the Chinese government’s Xinjiang policy for no reason. Crude interference in China’s internal affairs. This hypocritical face and hegemonic nature have long been seen through by the world; all kinds of delusions of conspiracy are destined to waste time.”

Quote: “In fact, in order to maintain its own hegemony, the United States has long been accustomed to the double standard on the issue of counter-terrorism. Under the banner of human rights and anti-terrorism, the United States waged wars and ignited wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and other places, resulting in the death and injury of millions of innocent people and the displacement of a large number of refugees. However, the method has been accused and maliciously attacked. What are the reason and logic? This unreasonable double standard of the US side will only arouse the great indignation of all people with justice and conscience!”

Editors’ words: The author of the opinion is ‘commentator of People’s Daily’ which is CCP instead of a specific person. CCP is double-faced. It wants to trade abroad while slanders the USA inside China.
