Sen. Marsha Blackburn: US supporting pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong

According to a tweet of Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) on Dec. 3, she was interviewed by Fox News in the footage, talking about the PROTECT ACT and emphasizing that

It prohibits US manufacturers of crowd control items, like tear gas, and rubber bullets, and mallets, batons from selling or shipping or doing business with Hong Kong Police Force and with Beijing. And so what this will do is keeping them from using these items to control these freedom fighters that are fighting for their Hong Kong.

When referring to the Hong Kong District Council Election, Sen. Blackburn stated that

They really ran the tables and sent a message to Beijing, that in Hong Kong they are not going to put up with this overreach that Beijing’s practising.
