It’s the 15th consecutive day of the peaceful demonstration against the CCP spy Bob Fu in Midland, TX, today. The weather was a bit cold with some drizzle. The volunteer protestors gathered again, but no police showed up today.
Midland Mayor Payton said during a news conference that Bob Fu claimed some people wanted to have him eliminated and these people were from a gang.
Mayor Payton accused the peaceful protestors as members of “a gang”. We require Mayor Payton to show evidence on that claim.
Haiyang, one of the protestors, was arrested for “jaywalking” and then was released soon after. He commented that Mayor Payton travelled to Asia with Bob Fu, which showed the close relationship between them. Mayor Payton also walked across the street. There was video evidence. This is allegedly selective enforcement and an explanation is required from Mayor Payton.
Saran told the New Federal State of China GTV Channel that Mayor Payton made false accusations and slanders of the protestors on the news conference. He said he was trying every way to get the protestors off the street. It was enforcement without evidence. The police warned the protestor not to set up cameras on the side of the street, arrested protestors for “jaywalking”, but when a man holding a rifle allegedly threatening the protestors showed up, the police only asked a few questions, took his rifle and let him go. Bob Fu also had some one interrupting the protests using an air blower, causing a lot of noise and dust in the air. However, the neighbors were very friendly to the protestors.
Saran raised a question about Bob Fu. Bob Fu claimed to be a human rights activist and have rescued many people out of Communist China. But he could travel between China and the U.S. freely.
Mayor Payton said he would talk to the protestors in the Chamber without a camera or recorder. But Saran called for an open interview with the Mayor, with the media present.
