Under the Hong Kong National Security Law, Civilians Are Arrested for Raising Blank Paper in Shopping Mall

In protest of the National Security Law, civilians initiated a silent protest by holding blank paper in the shopping mall APM at Kwun Tong.

The police tactical unit (PTU) intercepted many civilians in the shopping mall and arrested 5 men and 7 women.

Ms Lo was arrested after raising a blank paper in front of the police cordon line. She refused to be bailed and was released today.

Ms Lo asked how come the Hong Kong government was so scared in sight of a blank paper. She hopes the authorities would repent and stop “digging one’s own grave”.
