On Dragon Boat Festival, a public holiday in Hong Kong, Shui On Land, a contractor of the Hong Kong Government’s Lands Department removed a banner put up by Cheung Sha Wan District Councillor Lee Ho-man.
The contractor provided no explanation, but it was said that the Lands Department claimed that banner was “obscene and indecent” in a letter issued yesterday.
The banner wrote “Defend Hongkongers’ freedom, Say No to National Security Law.”
