Hong Kong Police Force mass arrested civilians to stamped out protests against Hong Kong’s incoming national anthem and national security laws on May 27, Wednesday. By 5 pm on Wednesday, the police said they had arrested more than 360 people “on suspicion of illegal assembly”.
But it was not the illegal assembly; it was going to work and back to schools. Girl students in school uniforms, possibly 12 or 13 years old, were arrested on their way back home.
Young ladies and gentlemen were arrested on their way to work in the morning or at lunchtime. The angry residents watched the brutal illegal policemen arresting children and youngsters, saying, “you are doomed, black cops, the retributions are there for you and your whole family”!
The Bill of Anthem Law was second reading in the Legislation Council in the afternoon, and the National Security Law is about to pass on the next day. Hongkongers took to the street again for protesting the laws aiming at eroding the freedom of speech. Beijing wants to silence Hongkongers， erode their freedom, and turn the cosmopolis into a concentration camp where cops are empowered to arrest whenever they want for “maintaining the social order”.
Hong Kong is one of the most civilized cities in the world, Hongkongers are law-abiding people who are obviously not prepared for the thuggish police force savaging the city with the excuse of “enforcing the rule of law”.
So far, more than 10,000 Hong Kong people were arrested, and it was estimated that the Gestapo-like police force might have killed another 11,000 people. The death of Chan Yin-lam, 15, and her mother last September has wised up the citizens to resist the Mafia regime for the sake of the future of Hong Kong.
The resistance was a modern version of David and Goliath but in much brutal and sophisticated way. The Hongkongers’ bitter resistance against tyranny calls for international involvement because it is not merely a war between local people and Beijing authorities, but a war between civilization and barbarianism, between humanity and anti-human crimes. Stand with Hong Kong, for we are all human beings.
