Second Day of Protest: HK Kowloon Bay Residents Oppose Unconsulted Designated Clinic

February 23 | Kowloon Bay Residents of Richland Gardens in Hong Kong organized a second day of protest to object the Kowloon Bay Healthcare Centre turning into a designated clinic for patients with the Wuhan Pneumonia without consultation with nearby residents.

The protest kick-started with civilians opening a champagne bottle.

A supplies station was also set up by residents of Richland Gardens, distributing masks and water to Hong Kongers.

Later, at around 21:13 o’clock, Riot police suddenly entered this private housing estate.

But residents told the police, “This is private property. If you wish to check anything in Richland Gardens Shopping Center, just go there.”
